Warner Theatre - FACILITIES

Auditorium (pic. by David Bell)The auditorium accommodates over 2250 for concerts, meetings, seminars, Broadway shows and Philharmonic concerts. 1528 orchestra seats and 722 balcony seats comprise the Warner Theatre.

Opened April 10, 1931, this fabulous structure bears the name of the world-famous Warner Brothers who commissioned it to be built in 1929. The air conditioned Warner Theatre provides over 2250 upholstered, theatre styled seats that can be used for lectures, presentations, and entertainment purposes. The grand and beautiful front lobby of the Warner can be used to hold small receptions of up to 250 people in a sit-down fashion. As many as 500 people can be accommodated for the stand-up buffet.

Grand lobby (pic. by Art Becker)The proscenium type stage measures 65 ft. by 28 ft., off the side of which are street level, load-in facilities. Electrical capabilities include: 110/220 VAC, three phase 600 AMPS, 200A per LEG. Single-phase 110/220 also available. There is also an in-house sound/public address system.

Designed by the famous Rapp&Rapp Company, the theater opened its doors in 1931. Construction costs at that time were an unbelievable 1.5 million dollars. Furnished and decorated in the art deco motif, the elegant theater is complemented by gold and silver leaf, gold-backed French mirrors and crushed velour. The timeless and historic theater currently involved in a Restoration and Expansion.

Chandelier in the grand lobby (pic. by Carol Comstock)Home to the Erie Philharmonic, Erie Civic Music Association, Lake Erie Ballet and the Erie BROADWAY Series, it also hosts a wide range of lectures, and entertainment shows. The theatre hosts an aggressive schedule of over 150 events per year.  

The Warner’s Grand Lobby comfortably accommodates 250 guests for sit-down dinners or 500 guests for standing banquets. The lobby is commonly rented for weddings and receptions.
